Well, all I can say is...the producers and gang tried. But, in the end, it was pretty formulaic and not enough grunge.
The Joker falls in love ?!
And then there are the obligatory "evil" guys ( and gal ) who threaten to take over the world.
Gee, haven't ever heard that one before.
Oh well, not the worst, not the best.
