Review of Suicide Club (2001) by Christabel G — 22 Aug 2007
This definitely isn't a film you should watch unless you're willing to use your brain to comprehend the message it intends to teach the viewers. If not, this'll be passed off as a another 'shock' Japanese film.
Though I can't say I was able to completely see its purpose and meaning, what I did get was disturbing enough. Let's just say it puts into sharp focus the detachment of our society and with ourselves.
Groundbreaking and amazing directing and cinematography.
