Review of Sugar Creek (2007) by Brody M — 01 Aug 2009
This was a refreshingly different, moody horror yarn, in the tradition of Ambrose Bierce's Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge, Carnival of Souls, Prairie Tales, and Dead Man. Nice pastel color tones, and low contrast photography gives this unusual film a somewhat unique look and feel.
This is something screenwriter Earl Hamner might have written.
