This film was very good and I saw it because the directors, Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden have done some really good work. This film which in the majority is in spanish, even though some of the film is in english.
The acting by Sugar, who is not an actor, is really good considering. The story is not based on a true story, but it very easily could be as its story is so believable. The film is not predictable and took a turn I didn't expect about 3/4 of the way through it.
Overall a very good film, which tells a great story about a Dominican baseball player, even though its not really a sports movie in the traditional sense.
