The story of a young dominican ace pitcher who's life is turned upside down when he enters the Kansas City farm system and moves to Iowa, leaving everything he knows and loves (besides baseball) behind.
The film tells the very unique story of how dreams clash with reality. It asks hard questions and doesn't give easy answers, sometimes not giving answers at all. I can safely say Sugar is one of the most original baseball films of all time.
