Review of Sugar (2008) by Dave G — 01 Mar 2010
Not a conventional sports movie by any stretch, but still a good story with great performances. I'm probably rating this lower than I should just because the end result is not what I expected. If you like true-to-life baseball movies, definitely check this one out.
It is cool (albeit not traditionally uplifting) to see a movie made about the journey of Domincan-born players to the majors.
