A realistic portrayal of the conditions forced on women and girls in the years before they finally allowed the right to vote. It's an excellent film that depicts the strength of the incredible women who sacrificed so much for a better world for their daughters.
Carey Mulligan is fantastic. Thank you to the film makers who brought to light a critical period of time so often forgotten or dismissed.
