Brilliantly acted and filmed. This is harrowing but required viewing.
Realised that the only suffragette I had seen on screen before this was the mother in Mary Poppins! This film definitely doesn't sugar the pill. I left stirred to continue the fight. As the song Nana was a suffragette says "Votes for women, is just the beginning, you haven't seen anything yet.".
