Review of Suddenly Last Summer (2012) by Chris R — 31 Mar 2008
An excellently creepy film. It does look dated in places (the love story just makes Mongomery Clift's character look like an unprofessional, lecherous arsehole rather than a gentle hero) and the final scene drags slightly, but the characterisation and the dialogue are amazing.
And Katharine Hepburn manages to look and act like death incarnate.
