Review of Suddenly, Last Summer (1959) by Becca F — 22 Jun 2008
Elizabeth Taylor, dubbed "the most beautiful woman in the world" proves that her looks are not her only engaging feature. Liz gives an absolute jaw-dropping performance as a tormented individual, being forced into a labotomy by her aunt, played by the great Kate.
With Monty Clift as the caring doctor and a brilliant script only Tennessee Williams could produce, this movie is a bonafide classic.
