This fourth Dirty Harry movie is longer than the three previous ones and has a different structure. In my opinion, the story in this one feels psychologically deeper (although women killing for revenge is hardly realist) and is less predictable, thus more interesting.
However, it retains the same "supercop with unorthodox tactics" archetype, the same western-movie-like body count... and many of the actors play different roles in one or another movie starring, or being directed by, Clint Eastwood.
The "Go ahead, make my day" line is an instant classic.
