Review of Sudden Impact (1983) by Phil K — 18 Jul 2010
One of the better Dirty Harry's. It's got Clint being the meaner and cooler than ever. It has plenty of great action and plenty of classic Clint one liners especially "make my day". This one is noticeably more dark than the other ones mostly due to Clint's directing.
The villain in this one is a bit different then any Harry has faced before. This one is a women who is out for revenge. So what she is doing is clearly wrong, but you sympathize with her. The question is will Harry sympathize?
