It's not a regular movie, "Sucker Punch" is a masterpiece of modern art!
"Sucker Punch" present very tragic story, split over many levels of perception of reality, and different levels of attempts to escape reality.
Each level designed with unique and beautiful atmosphere, with astonishing visual style and gorgeous visual effects. Common denominator of all the levels, is a struggle of a woman, in the world of male/human cruelty. Even in the most hopeless places, main character never gives up or surrenders, she keeps fighting, by all available means.
It's a Feminist movie, that carries a strong message of women's empowerment. But this also a movie about justice and human struggle to overcome injustice, in an unfair and cruel world.
Quote from the movie, that I like the most, that in my opinion represents the essence of this movie: "You have all the weapons you need, NOW FIGHT!".
