I saw this with a friend and my son. Ages 41, 32, and 19. We all enjoyed the movie. It took a minute to get going and the story was a little odd, but the action and fantasy eye candy kept us glued. If you need a lot of plot and story then this might not do it for you, but if you liked movies like 300 or Sin City you will feel at home with this one too.
Alone I might have only given it a 7 due to the thin plot, but the eye candy and the enthusiasm of my son for the film push me to give it a higher score.
