Review of Sucker Punch (2011) by Lucas R — 26 Apr 2013
Candy for dinner. That's what you get when you watch Sucker Punch. It's a completely visual feast for the eyes that skimps on, well pretty much everything else. Characters are flat and two dimensional, which the story tries forcing you to care about though you hardly know anything about them.
The whole thing plays out like a video game, written by someone who has never played one, but imagines that this is close enough.
