Review of Sucker Punch (2011) by Don S — 10 Feb 2014
This is a teenage boy's dream: scantily clad young ladies carrying big weapons and kicking some major ass. Ahh, I remember those dreams well. The movie is a blending of three realities: the actual, the perceived and the escapist fantasy; the twistings of these realities make for a chaotic, violent, action movie that moves at a decent pace but ultimately lead nowhere.
A nicely filmed wet dream, but not much more.
