Review of Sucker Punch (2011) by Evan J — 14 Jun 2013

I wanted to watch this to get a little taste of Zach Snyder before I see Man of Steel.

Call me crazy, but I actually liked this. Maybe I'm just a sucker. It was definitely one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen. But I've been known to like weird. Never have I seen any movie like this. It was so damn creative.

First of all, it's visually stunning. The cinematography is truly beautiful. The action sequences were pretty stunning. I also liked the soundtrack. I mean come on people, really sexy chicks with big guns and swords kick major ass the entire movie! The action is seriously awesome; Babydoll is one heck of a slayer! I just had a lot of fun with it. A fun action-packed fantasy film. Not to mention, this film is extremely deep and has a lot of meaning to it.

By the way I watched the Extended Version of this!
