Review of Sucker Punch (2011) by Curtis I — 20 Dec 2012

I really don't see any reason for all the Sucker Punch hate that is going on right now with the lot of RT reviewers. This is a pretty good movie, with a great soundtrack and some visually amazing action sequences that won't be rivaled anywhere.

The plot is not missing but it is a bit abstract. The character development surely takes second seat to action and visual spectacle which usually really bothers me but I wasn't overly bothered by that with this film.

I was expecting it perhaps and therefore ok with the direction this film took. The one character I did have problems with though was Blondie. Vanessa Hudgens was a bit of a let down in the acting department at times.
