Review of Subway (1985) by Dan T — 29 Jul 2007
I was given a copy of this bizarre film on DVD a little while back.
Starts off pretty comme si, comme ca with some film noir undertones and nice set pieces and then slowly elvolves into a weirdo 80's music fantasy as Lambert's character decides to organise a subway gig for a Devo inspired pop act with Jean Reno on drums doing his best Freddie Mercury impression.
Maybe I missed the point but I had a great time watching this.
