Suburbicorn is a movie I want to LOVE. The trailer looked really good. Unfortunately, it is just decent. It still managed to be very entertaining, though.The performances, script and especially the coustume and production design are great.
It has many plotholes and flaws. It is very confusing. George Clooney is trying to have the 1950's effect. It didn't work out well. The third act is the best part, you finally connect with the characters.
The characters do horrible things, you can't like them. A few parts were hilarious, though. I love Oscar Issac. The score was also amazing. A missed opportunity.Suburbicorn try's to do something it can't do.
I still enjoyed it thoroughly. B-.
