Review of Suburban Girl (2007) by Darina P — 29 Feb 2008
Ok, this movie... if I let my bias get in the way I'd rate the movie a 7 or 8, but I would never pay that much to see it and I'll tell you why in a second..

Suburban girl starring Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alec Baldwin, I LOVE SMG... I think she is one of the most underrated actresses of our time and I say that with much thanks, because it's over once she becomes overrated. If you're a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer then you agree with me, because that girl can act, she can act, plain and simple. I'm willing to say one of the best actresses today. Why do you guys keep letting go on these tangents?.

The movie for real this time. I thought the movie was a fun funny little RomCom (romantic comedy), but it just didn't hit home. The movie moved too fast, it was hard to get a real sense of the relationship with the characters, it felt to forced down my throat. Thematically, it was well done and it was painfully predicable to me anyway. .

The real rating I'd give it is about a $4. Wait 'til it's no longer a new release then rent it... Blockbuster..
