Review of Subterano (2003) by Trinity C — 09 Jul 2004

Probably one of the worst and stupidest movies I have ever seen. I am both glad that I only paid $6 for it, and also pissed off that I wasted a good $6.

There's nothing redeeming about this movie except some neat special effects, but even they are just ripoffs of effects from other movies (mainly the liquid metal effects in T2).

Just a horrible, horrible movie. Terrible acting, an absolutely HORRENDOUS plot. Bad characters....just...BLECH!

I watched the featurette on the DVD, and it really was funny because the people all think they made somethign really fantastic and important. They are talking about all these deep, existential meanings and philosophy in the movie, and they seem to think that the love story in the movie was just fantastic and completely masterful.

I hope all Australian movies aren't like this. (Well...I knwo they aren't, because Picnic at Hanging Rock is amazing).
