Review of Subspecies (1991) by Senor C — 11 Oct 2011

I have all four Subspecies movies but I think 1 was enough for now. I did start watching the 2nd but abandoned it after about a half an hour because I didn't think this series deserved that much investment of my time.

A lot..& a mean a lot of people rave about this flix. Some even claim that it's the best vampire movie out there but I strongly disagree. This movies best selling point is Radu & the design that he carries but all he is is an updated version of Nosferatu.

For him alone this was watchable. As for the rest it varies from fair to bad. The rest of the cast is pretty lousy & the plot isn't all that interesting. I did like that they had one of these girls chained up w/ her breast exposed though.

A couple gutter touches are nice but on the whole this movie is vastly overrated.
