Richard Ayoades Directorial debut is strong and brimming over with a distinctly french style. While not packing a overtly comedic punch it is quirky and offbeat and does cross new territory and the script contains plenty of fresh ideas.
This is a great start and hopefully merely a taste of greater things to come from from this fledgling feature director.
