Review of Submarine (2011) by Fred E — 07 May 2012
This film has a unique slant and an evident quirkiness. Everything from the acting to even the font on the credits is perfect in my opinion and the camera shots and editing are are at times soul melting in their beauty.
You really claw yourself inside the weird and wonderful mind and family of Oliver Tate. This movie is NOT just for adolescents it holds a wry charm that will remind you of the teen you either are or you once were and it is all embracing in it's wit and charisma.
This film is funny, heartbreaking, awkward and impossible not to love.
