Review of Submarine (2011) by Ross L — 27 Oct 2012
First off, I must note I am not a fan of coming-of-age, first love type stories. That being said, this movies plays much better then expected. First off, it has a quirky style, which while still a little "British" forced (Harry Potter meets Harold and Maude), it keeps me interested the whole time. Oliver Tate's obscure look on life was a fresh guide through his stale British experiences. Overall it was enjoyable as much as this type of movie can be.
