Review of Student Bodies (1981) by Krista B — 17 Jun 2008
Student Bodies starts out strong, hitting every major genre staple on the head in a ten minute window that ends in murder by paper clips. Once this honeymoon ends, however, Student Bodies descends into a wild fiesta of the writer's warped sense of humor.
It's main problem, I think, is that it came too early, and the cliches of slasher films had yet to be fully established. Nevertheless, worth a watch for genre enthusiasts, if only for the first few minutes.
