Review of Stuck in Love (2013) by Eric G — 23 Jun 2013

Like many of its Indie Romance contemporaries, the film is blessed with an impressive soundtrack and charming performances from its cast of leads. Sentimental but not overly cheesy, the 3 stories work as intended - pulling on heartstrings and channelling our inner hopeless romantic. Sadly, the film's plot is a bit too overworked and ends up forcing upon the audience an overly sweet happy ending. Furthermore, it romanticizes the life of an author and covers up the fact that many authors do actually fail.

All in all, this film would definitely appeal to its target audience. However, if you are looking for more than just a feel good buzz, then this movie is probably not what you are looking for.
