The characters a too cliché for an Indie Movie so it looks like it's produced by a large company.
The bad guys are creationists and the good guy has a dying mother with brain tumor...
It all ends well during Thanksgiving...
Still, with the great cast it's quite a good movie even if we can really regret the lack of depth and nuance in the main characters.
