Review of Stuck! (2009) by Luis C — 12 Apr 2009

Could have been a bit better if they replaced certain things. The concept is good, good enough for a big budget flick but the story has too many goofy moments to be taken serious, the generic full of shit black guy, the underground rap songs (i love Heavy Metal Kings, the song being played in the sex scene but the rap just tried to compensate for trying to make Mena seem more like a whigger than she really was), the generic gay guy walking his dog who's too dumb (i guess too gay) for his own good and a bunch of dumb unnecessary shit that ruined the flick a bit for me.

The positives was the psychological stuff going on, and how the roles reversed. Stephen's character was in a funk and downward spiral in his life while Mena' character was on her way up and everything changes once they collide, or when she collides into him.
