Review of Stuck! (2009) by Christopher S — 12 Aug 2009
Stuart Gordon's darkly comic thriller makes its outlandish (though fact-based) premise work with compelling characters and genuine suspense. There are some serious stretches in logic, but it's consistently engrossing and entertaining, with a particularly exciting bloody climax.
With this film and the similarly dark 'Edmond' and 'King of the Ants', Gordon seems to be having something of a revival as a filmmaker.
