Review of Stuck (1974) by Kyle F — 05 Aug 2008
It's about a down on his luck loser(Stephen Rea) that gets in a hit and run altercation with an up and coming nurse who specializes in hosing down the ass cracks of demented nursing home residents.
She drives. He gets hit. She runs. He gets stuck in the wind shield, and...well you'll have to watch to see the lengths that these two go to get away from each other.
Entertaining and visceral, I don't know if it will play as well at home as it did in a packed theater full of genre enthusiasts but it definitely has it's moments of laugh out loud funny and cringe worthy gore.
Mena Suvari, while I don't really think much of her "acting chops", does a fine job, and it might actually make you enjoy the flick more if you are not a fan of hers.
What it lacks in logic it more than makes up for in fun, if you choose to see it that way, which I do.
