Haven't seen the first one, but ended up watching this with my enthralled daughter, who even cried at a sad bit. What her shame that the film itself is pants. It's mostly harmless but suffers from a thin plot, and the awfulness of Hugh Laurie doing that piss-poor American accent he uses in 'House'.
