.A good piece of british drama. This is the character study of a man who's a homeless criminal. It shows how various things that happened in his childhood etc psychologically damaged him and changed i'm into the protagonist in the film.

It is based on a true story and is an upsetting film. There are some very violent scenes, but they are execrated well. There's a lot of black comedy in the way Stuart talks and the way he lives. Some of it is difficult to watch because you're not sure if you should laugh or cry. Tom Hardy puts on an excellent performance as Stuart, as does Benedict Cumberbatch who plays Alexander.
