Review of Struck by Lightning (2013) by Ernest C — 31 Dec 2013

There are moments of real zing and poignancy through witty and funny dialogue in this film by actor and promising first time screenwriter Colfer. It ultimately does not fully succeed as a whole in large part due to an overly cynical lead character, but this film was at least different from many standard Hollywood films and I appreciated that it did not neatly wrap up everything at the end.
