Review of Stroszek (1977) by David S — 03 Oct 2009
A rather depressing film but, when you have a dancing chicken, it tends to lighten the mood just a little. Although I love everything about Herzog's collaborations with Klaus Kinski, I still throughly enjoy enjoy the films they did apart.
I don't think this film quite reaches the level of 'The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser' but this story has a tragedy of it's own and is told very effectively...
