Review of Striptease (1996) by Doctor S — 11 Oct 2010
As bad as you've heard? Pretty much. Biggest problem: nobody told Demi Moore - the STAR of the damn movie, mind you - that this was supposed to be a satiric comedy. In the right context, an oiled-down Burt Reynolds in cowboy boots would appear funny instead of ridiculous.
I'll be generous and stuff another half-star in the garter of a movie that has both Rena Riffel and Barbara Alyn Woods stripping.
