Review of Stripped (2014) by Leopold B — 03 Jun 2015
To be transparent, I should confess I was having a documentary day on the Netflix when I saw this, and that I love Calvin and Hobbes more than I could ever explain, so I was in a great position to enjoy the film.
Turns out this is the only time C+H creator Bill Watterson has ever recorded audio of any kind for anything. But you get a lot more than his perspective. We hear about the process and the business of comics from just about every angle all while focusing on true love of the form, which made for a fast-moving piece that gave me some energy for work of my own.
