Review of Stripes (1981) by Hunter D — 19 Nov 2007
This is Bill Murray doing what he did best in the eighties, which was being a smart-ass slacker who sticks it to the serious-minded. The script by Harold Ramis is true to his "snobs vs. slobs" style.
Most of my favorite actors from the 80's comedy scene are present (along with American bad-ass Warren Oates), and it has Ivan Reitman's hand directing the action back during his glory days. I thought it was hilarious, anyone who disagrees is wrong, and un-American by default.
