Review of Stripes (1981) by Maeve O — 05 Sep 2009
It had funny bits - I believe this to be true because of some slight laughter it caused. But unless it got much better after I switched it off (about an hour in-i guess) then this is a poor offering of mostly slapstick - sub police academy-esk - tosh. Bill Murray films did get better from here though.
(Given this score I fear that 1.5 stars was a tad to generous on mean girls, so some rethinks may be in order.).
