Review of Stripes (1981) by Chris D — 19 Dec 2008
Perhaps I need to watch this with the right audience, but this film is not as funny as other Bill Murray vehicles, like Groundhog Day. The story is ramshackle and skips too many beats. Bill Murray, of course, is the highlight of the film, once again showing that nobody can be quite as slyly endearing.
