Review of Strictly Ballroom (1992) by Vicki S — 18 Apr 2008
The first of Luhrmann's 'Red Curtain Trilogy' and - much as I admire both Romeo + Juliet and Moulin Rouge - actually my favourite. It's basically Cinderella with some extra dancing and melodrama but it's witty, colourful, slightly crazy and heaps of fun.
