Review of Strictly Ballroom (1992) by Jeff B — 25 Nov 2008
Enjoyable film directed by Baz Luhrmann about a dance competition and a guy who wants to dance his own moves and gets a amateur girl to be his partner. Nice debut from Luhrmann, and it's got his usual moments of caroonish-like acting, but thankfully it's not too over the top.
I loved the Time After Time dancing montage, very well done. Simple story, fun to watch, it's just a nice little film.
