Review of Strictly Ballroom (1992) by Lucie S — 25 Aug 2012
I absolutely love this film and I have seen it countless times. This and Muriel's Wedding are two of many great Australian films.
The film is the typical romantic comedy type of a ballroom dancer who finds a partner but cannot dance with her for fear of worrying about what others think.
Some of it is funny and parts are tragic but the overall movie is a very good one and one that you will no doubt watch countless times!
