It's no surprise that Stretch was dropped by its studio; it's absolutely pissing sharp quips and b-movie style through the screen, but in the best way. I loved Stretch. Stretch can get you out of a deep rut, if that's what you seek.
It's rough, weird, stylish (when it tries to be), and just a fun romp.
