I LOVE this movie. There aren't enough Rock and Roll fables as far as I'm concerned and it was just cheesy enough that the 80's could pull it off. Diane Lane was hot and Michael Paré as Tom Cody doubly hot.
Willem Dafoe was a prick and he was good at it, and everyone had that greaser hair and leather jacket style that you just don't see in movies anymore. The soundtrack was AMZAZING and almost everyone except for the leading man had a somewhat successful career after this movie.
