Review of Streets of Fire (1984) by Cresswell S — 06 Jun 2007
"Tom Cody, Pleased to meet ya.".
Michael Pare say thi line right after blowing the shit out of a motoercycle gangs head quarters.
Steets of Fire is a rock n roll fable. It about a kidnapped singer (Diane Lane)the gang leader (Willen Dafoe) and her ex army ex boyfriend (Michael Pare).
With a pumping 1980's soundtrack, and sets that remind you of the 1950's this is one great ass film. Michael Pare never became a big name star which is too bad, cause this film is a good one that was over looked when released.
For those of you that work for Loblaws they play the only song that went to #1 on the charts at work once and a while, "I can Dream About You" Great song.
