Review of Streets of Fire (1984) by Leonard Z — 24 Mar 2011
Let's just say this: the setting of the blendation of...80s with 50s styles makes it look like a light hearted 'Blade Runner' setting which is beautiful. The lead, Tom Cody played by Michael Pare, is handsome as hell, along with the sexy Diane Lane as Ellen Aim.
Amy Madigan is an interesting female soldier character, and Willem Dafoe...well he's Willem Dafoe. Problem with the film: Saving Damsel in Distress plot, and bringing her back to her home took up 1 hour of the 90 minutes.
..That's not good. Other than that, enjoyable.
