Review of Streets of Fire (1984) by Nick C — 21 Nov 2005
The movie is about a rock and roll singer who is kidnapped by a biker gang at one of her concerts. Her ex-boyfriend comes home after he gets out of the army. He doesn't really care about his missing Ex but is slowly persuaded to find her, he goes on a rampage and tries to get her out of the gang territory, that's only the start.
Things get complicated when the leader of the gang gets pissed that they are invadeing his territory and things get ugly. The movie has a lot of things going for it A. the music fits the mood. B. the movie has style.
and C. It is directed by the guy who directed 48 Hours and The Warriors.
