This is such a weird little number, a rock and roll fantasy that takes place in a world where the 50's and the 80's seem to exist side-by-side. A biker gang kidnaps Michael Pare's ex-girl, so he and her manager (Rick Moranis) and a sidekick (Amy Madigan) go travelling the mean night streets of anytown to rescue her.
Any film that climaxes in a SLEDGEHAMMER FIGHT between Willem DaFoe and Michael pare' is a-okay in my books. A cult movie if there ever was one.
